Deborah Rose Longo has been an International instructor of the Gurdjieff Movements for 30 years, working with groups in the United States , Germany , Australia , England , Chile , Canada , Italy , India and Russia . She began her training in the Gurdjieff Work and the Sacred Dances in 1975 at the Claymont Society for Continuous Education in Charles Town, West Virginia (founded by John Bennett), where she has been a long time resident and has also established a notable reputation in the Claymont Court Seminar Program as kitchen coordinator/head cook. Deborah Rose is an artist specializing in mandala making and has had her work featured in numerous publications. In recent years, Deborah has also enjoyed the challenge of substitute teaching as an opportunity to bring various sacred arts to younger souls. She is in her second year of teaching full-time as a Multi-Categorical Special Education teacher for adolescents.

Deborah Rose Longo as senior Movement´s teacher, and  several experienced Movement´s teachers who are members of the organizing group, will be facilitating the Movements sessions during the Retreat.

Melanie Monsour has been the pianist for Sacred Movements events around the world and has performed the music of Gurdjieff/De Hartman in the U.S., Europe, Austrailia, Chile, India, Russia and Canada for more than a decade. She is currently a member of the teaching faculty of the College of Santa  Fe and on staff with the National Dance Institute of New Mexico.  She has five CDs, a Gurdjieff/de Hartmann compilation and four compilations of original compositions, the most recent work: A Fly in the Temple released in 2006.  Melanie’s considerable gift as a pianist is an expression of a light-hearted and deeply meditative presence that is a strong source of support and inspiration for the Work.
